Phase Two Begins!

Completing Phase One and moving the children to the Living Hope Community is part of a dream coming true for us!

The children and staff are greatly enjoying their new home, but daily life makes it even more evident that forging ahead with Phase Two of construction is imperative.

Our plans for the next phase include a Community Center, which will be the permanent indoor dining hall and kitchen and the heart of the children’s new home.  It will be a gathering place for meals,  playing indoor games, and spending time as a family.  The current, temporary dining hall is housed in a reinforced tent. The wind, rain, and cold put a damper on mealtimes and gatherings.  The planned Community Center will be a great blessing for the children and staff.

Also included in Phase Two is a building with apartments for 12 staff families who work full time as a positive example of healthy family life for the children who have suffered abuse and neglect.  As violence increases in Mexico, our staff families are at risk, and living on campus will greatly increase security for them and the ministry.

Now, as we launch fundraising for Phase Two of construction, we ask you to consider making a donation to help us build these essential components of the Living Hope Community.

When we revealed the donor walls for Land Purchase and Phase One in the Garden of Hope dedication, the children were in awe and spent days afterward reading over the names of many caring people like you.
