A Short Story, A Round Table, A Life Touched

,

When Joey was invited to Dinner for the Kids, she reluctantly attended with no particular expectations. As she arrived, it was bustling, crowded, and friendly. Two and a half hours later she didn’t want to leave. This night, back in 2013 was the first-ever event at which a child who grew up at Esperanza Viva (EV) was in attendance, giving their personal testimony in front of 100’s in attendance. This first, and impactful, taste of what God was up to in Mexico made her hungry for more. Her desire to visit EV in person became reality in 2016 when she took a week-long missions trip with her 3 daughters where God cemented her passion for the hurting and she found a fresh purpose and desire to get involved. Joey now leads missions teams to EV from the YMCA where she works and is helping her local church connect to the ministry of LHI. Had it not been for an invite to join a table there could be 100’s of others who would have missed out on the opportunity to witness the hope and healing found in the hearts and lives of the children of Esperanza Viva. Reserve a table today and consider who YOU will invite to Taste and See – that the Lord is good!

Reserve a table for 8, today!
