In 2017, as dialogue began with an active LHI advocate and YMCA employee, about the prospect of leading a team from a Wisconsin YMCA to visit Esperanza Viva (EV) for a week in Mexico, both parties were intrigued. What a great opportunity to connect folks in the United States with the life-changing work happening at EV.
