We’re going to Esperanza Viva in Puebla, Mexico
Reaching the world with the love and hope of the Gospel requires us all to do our part.
Shepherd of the Hills Church is taking a group of 29 people to Esperanza Viva (EV) from June 15-22. EV has an orphanage and school for children ages infant through high school.
We will be doing service projects and spending time with the kids loving on them, playing games, doing craft activities, and talking to them about Jesus.
You can participate in this adventure in two ways:
Most importantly, pray for:
- Our team as we prepare for the trip
- Safe and on-time travels
- Good health
- Ability to work well together and be open to what the Lord wants to teach us
- For us to glorify God in every aspect of this trip
Help us fund an important project:
We have been asked to raise funds and build a shelter/pergola on the EV grounds. This will be used for gatherings, meetings, and Bible studies and provide a place for supervisors to be sheltered from the sun while watching the children. The cost of materials for this project is $5,000, and we are asking you to prayerfully consider helping us fund it by making a tax-deductible donation towards the project.
Please know that donations in any amount, large or small, will be greatly appreciated. If you are able to contribute to our fundraising effort, please do so by April 30th so we can plan accordingly.
Thank you in advance for your consideration of our two requests. When we return from Puebla, we will send you a recap of our visit (and hopefully a photo of the finished shelter)!
Please include the person’s name going on the trip during the checkout process to ensure they are notified of your support. Any undesignated funds will be applied wherever needed most at the discretion of the Shepherd of the Hills missions team and LHI. Living Hope International, Inc. (LHI) is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization. All donations to LHI are tax deductible in full or in part within the United States.
