Nations School Dedication: And Hope Does Not Disappoint
After years of trusting in God’s timing, Nations School is a dream come true.
As the blue silky ribbon was cut to pieces, cheers erupted straight from the hearts of the hundreds of children, staff, and visitors assembled to dedicate Nations School to the purposes of the Lord.
More than 300 visitors joined the staff and kids of Esperanza Viva over the weekend of February 23rd through 26th. After more than 20 years of holding school classes under the cover of tattered tents covering dusty brick pavers, the children now attend a beautiful new facility with a capacity of 419 students. For the first time ever, we’ve also opened enrollment to the surrounding community and families of Nations Church. We continue to hear testimonies of the incredible effect this new school is having on families outside of Esperanza Viva, and many were on site to celebrate with us.
Apart from the testimonies and now laughable stories of rat and spider infestations, extreme weather, and the perseverance of our students and teachers in tent classrooms for more than 20 years, was the theme of God’s faithfulness—God’s timing and the patient journey of how the school for the children went from distant dream to a colorful reality.
The children of EV are now able to reach even higher in achievement and dreams, thanks to generous people, churches, and organizations that collectively have made the education of our children a priority in their prayers and giving. Thank you!
