They have come: our record class size of La Viña

You’ve likely heard the movie quote and cultural cliché, “If you build it, they will come…” At Esperanza Viva, the reality is “they” are already coming and we now need to “build it” to fully embrace the growth and momentum. “They” are the young adult La Viña students from all areas of Mexico, the US, and other nations, coming to EV, hungry to learn and establish a faith foundation for ministry service. After La Viña, the next step for many of these young people is to join our dynamic team of supervisors and to fill other key full-time staff positions. “They” are also short-term missions teams and visitors, coming to taste and see what God is so freely pouring out over the LHI ministries in Mexico.

At the recent 2018 Dinner for the Kids events, we launched a new project that will help us do just that—the Multi-Purpose Building. This building will provide housing, training spaces, and more—once we “build it.”

*UPDATE: At the 2019 Gala 25 anniversary events, the funds have been raised to begin construction in January of 2020.

We hope to reach the halfway mark in the funds needed by the close of 2018. As we near the end of the year, will you consider a financial gift to help move us one step closer to funding, breaking ground, and embracing this next chapter of growth and training? Will you help us?

Total Project Cost $575,000
