Tim & Jocelyn Doese
  • Missionaries Since: March 2015
  • Originally from: Minnesota/Wisconsin
  • Areas of Service: Worship, Accounting, Teaching

From a young age, both Tim and Jocelyn Doese were drawn to foreign missions. In 1994, at the age of 14, Jocelyn was already on her second missions trip to Mexico visiting the McNally family, helping them prepare to open the Esperanza Viva Youth Home in Puebla. Tim was a children’s and worship pastor at an inner-city bilingual church in the Minneapolis area when he met and married Jocelyn in 2007. In 2014, along with their children, Estrella, Vega, and Ezra, they visited Esperanza Viva and heard God calling them to step out in faith to serve as full-time missionaries in Mexico. Tim and Jocelyn share a passion to see hearts redeemed and liberated by Christ, and that desire is evident when they are leading worship and in everything they do for the kids and staff of Esperanza Viva. While serving as missionaries, God blessed their family with one more world changer, Via, who brings everyone around her joy.
