Karlee first visited Esperanza Viva Youth Home in February of 2019 after she was invited by a coworker to join their short-term mission trip. Once she arrived, she knew God was telling her to make this place her home. After her third short term mission trip in February of 2020, Karlee knew it was time to make the move to serve in Puebla. In August of 2020, she arrived to serve as an intern in the Quest program for six months and continued to follow God’s plan for her to serve at EV as a full-time missionary. She has served as a dormitory supervisor and English teacher as well as in the marketing department for LHI. Now that she is married and living off campus, Karlee continues to serve as an English teacher at Nations School and in the marketing department. She has a heart for the unreached and is passionate about sharing the stories and testimonies of what God is doing here in Mexico to impact the lives of children and entire communities.
Karlee met her husband, Erick, while they were both serving at Esperanza Viva. Erick has since moved on and is working as a teacher in a christian school. They are excited to be faithfully walking in the mission and vision God has for each of their lives in their unique giftings to serve the people of Mexico.
Living Hope International missionaries receive no salary as they serve. Your consistent gifts of any amount are a blessing.
