December Issue – 2019

Lives Transformed

This year we were honored to host 395 visitors at Esperanza Viva in Mexico, most of whom came during the popular summer months. This remarkable flow of guests, young and old, came to experience what God is doing in the hearts and lives of the children, staff, and community. It reminds us of just how beautiful it is to see the family of God coming together to meet needs, encourage one another, and step out of comfort zones to let God work in ways that can alter perspectives, life paths, and eternity. If you’ve never visited, or it’s been a while, come and be refreshed by the Lord in 2020. How will you describe YOUR encounter with God, the kids, the staff and the culture of Mexico? Testimonials from this year:

Through this experience I have found myself before Christ, surrendering my everything to him and his plan for me. Before, I was drowning in doubt, stubborn to give in to the plans that God has for me. At this moment I feel like God can do anything with me. Thank you, Living Hope.  ~Nate

Everything here is so inspiring. From worshiping with the staff to playing with the kids, it has been an amazing experience that I will never forget. This team has become my second family and the kids are like my new little siblings!  ~Sophia

Telemedicine

Living Hope Clinic is close to going live with a cutting edge system of diagnosis and treatment through a network of stateside volunteer medical professionals. The necessary hardware and infrastructure upgrades are now in place.

Building Progress

We’re still on track! Following the outpouring of support and giving toward the multi-purpose building, we’re getting closer to finalizing the details before work can begin. Verifying the construction quotes is almost complete and the current dollar/peso exchange rate is favorable. We still hope to break ground in January. Periodic updates will be posted online at LoveHopeMercy.org/Building

Future location of multi-purpose building: Between the basketball court and the existing visitor housing.
