San MartÍn Esperilla

To walk in others’ shoes is an easier task said than done, but isn’t that just what Jesus did when He came to this earth? Did He not walk in human sandals, among mire and dirt, among sadness and brokenness, to reach down, wash our feet, and walk with us? It’s a beautiful image to behold: Jesus, the Savior of the World, walking among “the least of these.”

“I’ve seen lots of need in lots of places. These conditions are way worse than I’ve seen before in all of Mexico, Africa… anywhere.” Jerry McNally

As Jerry McNally, founder of Living Hope International, came across these beautiful yet broken hearts in San Martín Esperilla, roughly 2 hours from our Puebla campus, he decided to walk beside them, outpouring the love of God among them, and providing them with essentials needed to survive—shoes, clothes, and hope, a flicker of a flame that resides when our needs collide with the love of God. As a ministry, just as Jesus did, we have decided to walk alongside these children, that they may be comforted—providing them with needed resources, that their walk may
be easier.
