The Old is Gone
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:
The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Cor. 5:17
José WAS neglected, malnourished, and severely abused by a family member. He was unable to speak due to his abuse and did not easily trust others.
TODAY, José is an articulate, artistic, happy child. He is a joy to be around and is very friendly. José loves to paint, color, and draw.
Gabriela WAS living with her handicapped single mother, starved with little means of food and shelter. She lacked trust in others, was defensive, and was very shy.
TODAY, Gabriela is a loving and nurturing girl. She is a helper, an encourager, and a lover of all things “girly”. Gabriela speaks up for justice and takes good care of her friends and her surroundings.
Just Arrived: Miguel had little adult supervision prior to arriving in our care. He was uneducated and abandoned by his family, living on the streets, where to survive, he often found work or had to beg for help. We look forward in faith to see God’s hand on his life as he embraces what it means to be a part of our family.
